Boat Smart Classes by Marin Sail and Power Squadron

Spring IS coming!!! Are you and your family (or friend) prepared for a safe boating season? The Marin Sail and Power Squadron is offering a tuition-free U.S. Coast Guard approved safe boating course, Boat Smart, in four evening classes in January 2003 at two sites in Marin County:
Kell Center, 789 North Hamilton Parkway (Formerly Hamilton Air Force Base), Novato, 1900-2100 (7PM-9PM),
January 7, 8, 14, 15

BOAT US Store, 120 Donahue Street, Sausalito (Gateway Shopping Center, Marin City), 1900-2100 (7PM-9PM),
January 8, 9, 15, 16

There is a charge of $30 for the textbook and one book may be shared by two people. Additional books are $20 each. These fees include a final test and certificate of successful completion which may entitle you to a discount on your boat insurance. The text is also an excellent personal reference resource to keep on your boat.
