San Francisco Maritime Park’s Annual Pyrotechnic Fundraiser

Fireworks Viewing And Dinner Party Thursday, July 4, 2002

Revelers seeking a unique celebration aboard the Historic Ships Balclutha & Eureka at Hyde Street Pier this Fourth of July are invited to climb aboard the Maritime Park’s historic sailing vessels and watch the fireworks from the best seats on the bay. Situated right in the heart of this year’s public celebration, both historic vessels offer pyrotechnic connoisseurs a relaxed atmosphere close to, but separate from, the crowds on Fisherman’s Wharf.

In addition to the fireworks display, the evening includes live entertainment and opportunity to step back into San Francisco’s maritime history. Guests may enjoy a casually elegant full course dinner catered by Wild Thyme and complimentary wine and beverages. Sponsor tables include seating for ten, Maritime Park Sweatshirts and a champagne toast. Proceeds benefit the maritime preservation and education programs of the San Francisco Maritime Park. Dress warmly for a casually elegant evening!

A very limited number of seats are available and proceeds benefit the Museum. Adults are $125; Children under 12, $50 and Sponsor Tables are $1,500. For more information, call Emma-Louise Anderson at 415 561 6662 x 18.
