Bay Crossings Docks at Ferry Building

Why would Bay Crossings open a store in the Ferry building? Because until the WTA is up and running – and that could be years off – there exists no ferry ticket or information service for anyone but the Golden Gate Ferry riders who have their own terminal. Left out in the cold are riders from and to Vallejo, Alameda, Oakland and Tiburon, as well as thousands of tourists wanting to get on the Bay.   Go to Article

Point Molate: Waterfront Dream or Terrorist Nightmare?

Important Notice to our Readers

The long fight to bring comprehensive regional ferry service to the Bay Area is at a critical point. We need your help.

SB 916, the bill that would allow Bay Area voters to decide whether to raise bridge tolls to $3, has been passed by the Legislature. As we go to press, the bill sits on Governor Gray Davis’ desk awaiting signature.

The spending plan in SB 916 provides for ferries and it is crucial that you contact Governor Davis and tell him you want the bill signed. Here’s how to do it:

Email governor@governor.ca.gov or call 916-445-2841

Do it today!

Thank you.
